The Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge joins the city’s two main sections, Punda and Otrobanda. When strolling through the city, you will hear Papiamentu, the language spoken by 90% of the local population. English and Spanish are also widely spoken on the island and road signs and advertisements are in Dutch, which is the official language.
